On June 5th, CPOE(CNPC Offshore) participated in the Suriname SEOGS 2024 Oil and Gas Summit Exhibition, joining forces with BGP to form a joint CNPC booth. Together, they promoted and showcased the capabilities and brand of CNPC to the Surinamese oil and gas industry market. On the first day of the exhibition, Surinamese President Chandrikapersad Santokhi visited the CNPC joint booth accompanied by the Managing Director of Staatsolie, Annand Jagesar.

The summit was hosted by Staatsolie, Suriname's national oil company, inviting units from the global oil and gas industry to participate. At the opening ceremony of the summit, President Santokhi delivered a speech and visited the CNPC joint booth as the first booth visited after the meeting, apart from the host Staatsolie.

President Santokhi expressed that China and Suriname have good bilateral relations and warmly welcome CNPC to invest, explore, and develop related businesses in Suriname. He hopes that the entry of CNPC will drive the development of the country's energy sector. Upon learning about the service capabilities and industrial chain of CPOE, President Santokhi said, "CNPC offshore, we need it!"

The SEOGS 2024 Oil and Gas Summit continued from June 5th to 7th, with over 50 companies participating, including Total, ExxonMobil, Baker Hughes, and others.
